# Company Location API Overview

> Headquarters, offices, markets served

The akta.pro Company Location API returns the `location` section of the akta.pro company record as a standalone endpoint. Pass a company website domain or UUID in the path and get back just the `location` payload — no other sections, no sections parameter to configure.

This is a **synchronous GET API**. Pass the company in the URL path and receive the location payload immediately in the HTTP response. No polling required.

**The fields included in every response:**

| Field           | What it contains                                              |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `hq`            | Headquarters: city, country, region                           |
| `market_served` | Markets served globally / by region                           |
| `offices`       | List of offices with city, country, type, description, source |

**Common use cases:**

* **Geo-tagged list views** : bucket a company list by HQ country or region from `hq`
* **Office-density signals** : count `offices` to spot companies with global footprints
* **Market-coverage filter** : filter on `market_served.is_global` to surface global players
